Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and be certified in Workday. A minimum of 4+ years of Workday functional implementation experience is required, along with 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Student, or Financial software. Experience with data conversion, data mining, and data loading is essential, as is demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Student, or Financials Management. Minimal travel is required, with a willingness to travel on-site if needed.

Responsibilities

The Workday Data Senior Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems and guiding clients through Workday implementation phases. Responsibilities include being a Workday product expert, reinforcing company policies, driving tactical project direction, identifying dependencies, leading and mentoring consultants, designing data tracking and monitoring tools, and developing reports. They will also identify strategies, risks, and options, coordinate cross-functional discussions, map data sources into Workday, guide clients through data extract and cleansing, load customer data, migrate configuration, troubleshoot load issues, and document problems. Additionally, they will create scripts for data transformation and loading, improve and normalize client data, lead data validation, support clients through all project phases, perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keep stakeholders informed of project progress, take a leadership position, convert and map data sources into templates, act as a mentor to fellow consultants, and actively participate in training and knowledge sharing.
