  • Proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to travel up to 50%-75%
  • Prior experience using SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Meet with the right points of contact & persevere to nurture a business relationship
  • Quarterback the sales cycle, collaborating with internal partners in the design & development of packaging solutions
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities by doing due diligence with identifying leads, investigating, analyzing and planning to engage potential customers
  • Take the lead on contract negotiations & securing the sale
  • Maintain partnerships with customers, assuring Plastipak continues to bring value to their business (including inventory, accruals, rebates, negotiations and amortization agreements)
  • Establish budgets and forecast the growth potential for your territory
  • Expand existing relationships and cultivate new customer accounts
  • Bring innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to customers
