Responsibilities

  • Act as lead in a specific department with ability to flex to other departments as needed
  • Guide and train current and new employees on warehouse guidelines and new/updated procedures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for associates to provide guidance and training on industry best practices
  • Ensure adherence to proper methods and safety standards while effectively communicating in a positive and respectful manner
  • Address problems and conduct audits to identify issues, followed by providing constructive feedback to associates
  • Promote a positive team-oriented environment and lead by example
  • Help oversee daily assigned area
  • Enforce and maintain compliance and high quality standards with new and existing standards
  • Audit proactively to detect and solve problems
  • Ensure areas are ready for next shift i.e. all tasks completed, problem solve items solved
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with associates when product quality is at risk
  • Identify training deficiencies in associates and work with them to improve accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Assist on the floor in other areas when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
