Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote (US-based candidates only) Salary: $126,500 - $190,000 (market-competitive, actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. May be eligible for sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.)

We are looking to hire a VP, Home, Baby and Family (HFB) Thought Leadership who will be a public representative of NIQ's point of view and capabilities across these three industries.


Position Overview

As the VP, Home, Family and Baby Leadership at NIQ, you will be responsible for establishing NIQ’s credibility, positioning, and engagement across HFB-related CPG manufacturers and retailers. You will create a steady cadence of actionable, forward-looking thought leadership supported by analysis leveraging NIQ’s suite of data solutions and a deep understanding of market dynamics.


Responsibilities

  • Promote NIQ solutions and capabilities through industry presentations at conferences to cultivate new leads and opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to enable them to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing on HFB-related demand generation campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a network of interested NIQ associates in HFB categories to create additional advocacy and industry participation.
  • Participate in client meetings to provide industry perspective and help identify growth opportunities.
  • Play an active role as part of our thought leadership team developing provocative perspectives and timely POVs on economic changes that will impact NIQ clients in the HFB space.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of C-suite industry stakeholders.
  • Lead discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners.
  • Assist in business development efforts across manufacturers and retailers.
  • Provide input to HFB-related product development around product attribution, reporting, insights, and analytics/innovation.
  • Gain familiarity with the NIQ solution portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the HFB retail industry, with a preference for CPG and/or retailer leadership experience.
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills; ability to build and tell powerful stories using data.
  • Experience working with complex client relationships.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the power of data analytics to drive brand building, marketing, retail merchandising, and innovation.
  • Proven track record of building senior client engagement and impact.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Prior experience with NIQ solutions and/or other syndicated data providers is preferred.
  • Experience pulling data and hands-on experience with database tools.
  • Strong slide/content design skills with experience crafting/tailoring content for different audiences.
  • Ability to interweave strategic points, engaging stories, and key data points to craft a compelling storyline.
  • Comfortable utilizing insights and analytics and viewing them as a key component of product development, brand management, marketing, and merchandising.

Travel: 25% domestic travel is expected.
