Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of internal/external regional sales experience is required, along with Series 7 and 63 licenses. Preferred qualifications include CAIA, CFA, or other industry designations, experience with large RIA firms, Family Offices, and alternative investments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HubSpot. Familiarity with SalesForce or similar software is a plus, and the role requires over 60% travel. Deep relationships within the large RIA and Family Office space in the territory, a thorough understanding of deliverable platforms like CAIS and ICapital, and mastery of the Aggregator space for the RIA Channel are also essential.
The Vice President will articulate CIM's investment strategy, platforms, and competitive advantages to investors and stakeholders, while developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective firms. This role involves managing a territory through goalsetting, strategic planning, and pipeline reporting, and leveraging strong presentation skills to enhance the experience for RIA advisors and their clients. The VP will serve as the primary coverage for assigned firms, including Family Offices and RIA Aggregators, and collaborate with and mentor regional sales associates. Responsibilities also include attending industry events, responding to investor information requests such as RFPs, DDQs, and RFIs, and assisting with post-meeting communication and marketing efforts.
