  • FINRA Fingerprinting required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, finance, or related field
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record in relationship management and customer satisfaction
  • High-level knowledge of current investment products and industry services
  • Excellent operational and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently multi-task within a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist Empower's Personal Wealth investment clients (Premier account program and brokerage service) with a wide range of financial matters as the primary point of contact for assigned book of mass affluent clients (AUM $250k - $1m)
  • Provide outstanding client experience by proactively driving financial planning and guidance, being responsive to reactive client needs, and effectively communicating relationship benefits
  • Perform comprehensive relationship management via phone conversations and email (both proactive and reactive)
  • Act as liaison between clients and various internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth
  • Clearly discuss portfolio, market, and economic topics with clients
  • Provide holistic financial planning on subjects like retirement planning, savings strategies, and education planning (optionally collaborate with financial planning specialists on complex issues)
  • Coordinate with operational teams for client-related administrative issues
  • Retain assets under management and garner additional assets through diligent communication, proactive education, and responsiveness
  • Potentially assist in training new Financial Advisor hires and conducting presentations to groups of clients
