Requirements

Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree, such as a CFA or similar professional qualification, and have at least 8 years of experience in asset management, with hands-on experience in cross-border portfolio or FX-denominated products/funds management. Prior experience with bank WM subsidiaries is considered a plus, and a deep understanding of global markets, credit analysis, and trading tools is required.

Responsibilities

The VP, Portfolio Manager will be responsible for portfolio construction and optimization, specifically focusing on overseas market fixed income investments and onshore FX instruments. They will conduct in-depth research on global markets to support cross-border allocation decisions, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on market opportunities, and drive cross-border business development within dynamic regulatory environments. Furthermore, the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with shareholders and institutions to develop new investment strategies and instruments, including FX instruments, and streamlining portfolio construction, execution, and monitoring workflows.
