Clearent by Xplor is seeking a VP of Sales, Direct Sales for the Mid Atlantic region to build, manage, and lead a direct sales division. This role is crucial for achieving and surpassing team sales goals and requires a strong focus on recruiting to expand the territory in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience effectively managing a sales team in the payment acquisition industry.
  • Experience building a successful team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building, and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a drive to excel.
  • PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Eligible working rights and residing in one of the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota.

  • Financial Astuteness: Demonstrates strong understanding of financial management principles, identifies cost-effective approaches, maintains organizational performance, and adjusts financial allocations based on progress. Cultivates fiscal responsibility and works towards achieving EBITDA and net revenue targets.
  • Business Acumen: Identifies current and future resource needs based on organizational goals, priorities, competing resource needs, and budget realities. Proactively identifies potential risks and develops, plans, and implements measures to avoid or mitigate them.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and lead a direct sales division, including Regional Sales Directors, District Managers, and Account Executives.
  • Achieve and surpass team sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Heavily and consistently recruit to build and expand the sales territory.
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics in representing the Clearent by Xplor brand.
  • Drive the team to exceed the sales plan by utilizing Clearent’s systemic approach to activity management and accountability.
  • Optimize the team by maximizing the performance of current members and recruiting high-performing new members.
  • Provide succinct, insightful reporting to management and accurately forecast future sales.
  • Forward proactive recommendations to address key issues or concerns.
  • Solicit and manage key partner relationships (associations, VARs, etc.).
  • Ensure professionalism of team members in communications, training attendance, and social media use.
  • Market additional Clearent by Xplor products and services as they are introduced.
  • Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by Clearent and effectively communicate this information.
  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Clearent’s programs (Compass, gateway, etc.) and provide consistent reinforcement of the Clearent selling system to direct reports.
