Requirements

  • Experience scaling revenue from tens of millions to hundreds of millions in an executive leadership role
  • History of successfully building out a small team to an organization that crosses BDRs, AEs, and Sales Directors
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams in a fast-growth environment
  • Track record in taking a prosumer business, accelerating it, and expanding it into an enterprise SaaS model
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills, with experience driving both inbound and outbound sales motions in the early stages to a flywheel
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tech stacks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with productivity, AI, or collaboration software markets is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Read AI’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth across enterprise, mid-market, and self-serve segments
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team with a strong culture of ownership and accountability
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to ensure accuracy and performance against goals
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, systems, and tools (CRM, sales engagement, etc.)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market efforts
  • Engage directly with key prospects and customers to close deals and shape our value proposition
  • Define go-to-market strategies for new product launches and customer segments
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and positioning
  • Ensure operational excellence across all stages of the sales funnel and customer journey
