Vice President of Growth Markets

Newsweek is excited to announce a new role, Vice President of Growth Markets. The VP will build and drive Newsweek’s strategy in specific defined growth markets and turn six-figure revenue streams into a double digit million-dollar revenue business in two years. The ideal candidate will also bring the mindset of an agile project manager, ready to hand off one successful business after the short-term targets have been met, to take on the next growth opportunity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies by identifying opportunities, setting goals, and creating data-driven plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, working with the commercial, content, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Optimize performance by tracking key indicators and making data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Fostering a culture of growth by putting the customer at the center of every conversation and encouraging experimentation, innovation and rapid adoption of new technologies.
  • Manage relationships with partners and external stakeholders to deliver the highest possible value for Newsweek

Skills and Experience

  • Track record of driving revenue growth while maintaining high margins

  • Leadership experience is a must, including a track record of managing other managers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
