Candidates should have a proven ability to conduct professional-quality user experience research using both qualitative and quantitative methods. They must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of a range of user research methodologies and possess strong collaboration skills. This role is for candidates based in the United States, with a preference for those living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The UX Researcher will partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers to guide product development and refinement. They will independently define project scope, manage a research portfolio of foundational and evaluative insights, and conduct user research studies with Etsy buyers and sellers. The role involves collaborating with other researchers and data analysts, sharing findings and recommendations to drive business goals, and promoting user research methodologies across the company.
