Requirements

Candidates must have extensive experience applying customer-centered research techniques to product definition and designs, with expert knowledge in defining, planning, and executing research studies using quantitative and/or qualitative methods. Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is also required. A portfolio of work representing research that influenced great insights or experiences is necessary, along with preferred experience in developing insightful questions for technical and business users, in-depth knowledge of UI design and usability evaluation, experience with surveys and qualitative research, and the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

The Staff UX Researcher will represent customer needs across the product and design lifecycle, applying appropriate research techniques to understand user needs and define user types, use cases, and UX opportunities. They will partner with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmaps, validate feature and design direction through various testing methods, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate strategic and tactical insights with actionable recommendations. Additionally, they will communicate findings through artifacts such as user segments, personas, and user journeys, and provide mentorship to other team members while championing the UX research discipline.
