Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs
  • Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Oversee the implementation of and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, providing direction on company programs, and ensuring confidentiality
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for Vision Center associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ensure provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment
