Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of business on the floor, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and be an early adopter of new tools
  • Skills in training, teaching, and developing team members, including monitoring e-learnings and trainings
  • Capability to supervise teams, communicate goals, set guidelines and expectations, and execute company programs
  • Experience in operational tasks such as inventory management, ordering supplies, staffing, scheduling, cash register operations, and transaction processing
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvements

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success
  • Communicate department goals, set guidelines and expectations, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Maintain expertise in tire and battery services and share knowledge to train the team on products, technologies, and processes
  • Leverage digital tools and handheld technology for sales planning, service improvement, associate engagement, and business decisions
  • Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, and manage expense controls
  • Proactively plan, order equipment/tools/supplies, track returns/special orders, assist in staffing/scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and work hands-on in the area
  • Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance standards, complete paperwork/logs/documentation, and model member service
  • Train and develop the team, monitor training completion, identify potential, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs through collaboration and analysis
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist in correcting issues
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback, and adapting to change
  • Embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, and foster opportunities where associates feel supported and connected
