Responsibilities

  • Direct and guide management and hourly associates on customer service approaches by modeling excellence, conducting tours, and resolving issues
  • Drive financial performance by confirming budgets, assisting store manager in expense control, creating improvement plans, and forecasting budgets
  • Participate in community outreach, support associates in community service, represent the company, and promote company programs and sustainability efforts
  • Direct facility operations by setting service standards, developing merchandise presentation, maintaining inventory, executing programs, ensuring quality, and overseeing safety
  • Provide supervision and development for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance, and developing talent
  • Execute business plans and projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, providing resources, measuring progress, and developing contingencies
  • Supervise associates by selecting/training, building team environments, conducting evaluations, providing recognition/coaching, and promoting belonging
  • Promote company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity by training others, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy
