Requirements

  • Proficiency in utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead change efforts

  • Capability to review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting, forecasting, expense control, merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and develop action plans to mitigate shrink
  • Experience in providing supervision and development for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, promoting belonging mindset, and recruiting
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee job-related activities, develop relationships with stakeholders, support plans/initiatives, set goals, measure progress, address improvements, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Model exceptional customer service to associates, manage/support initiatives (e.g., community programs), resolve customer needs/complaints/issues, develop/implement action plans for deficiencies, and provide process improvement leadership for high-quality customer experience
  • Drive financial performance/sales by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/seasonal transitions/inventory flow/operational processes, and developing action plans to achieve sales/profit goals and mitigate shrink
  • Provide supervision/development for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, communicating effectively, promoting belonging mindset, and recruiting to meet staffing/growth needs
  • Coordinate/complete/oversee job-related activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting customer/business plans/initiatives, identifying/communicating goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, and providing direction/guidance on business processes/practices
