Responsibilities
- Assist management with supervising associates in assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals/feedback, training on processes/procedures, providing direction/guidance on member service to resolve complaints/issues per guidelines, ensuring policy compliance, supporting Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting/hiring/scheduling/promoting/coaching/evaluating associates
- Communicate/support membership by providing info on types/programs/benefits to current/prospective members, processing memberships/upgrades/credit accounts, encouraging renewals, participating in sales/marketing events, completing/maintaining marketing recaps/documentation, meeting membership goals, promoting Sam's Club products/services
- Provide/ensure member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding on self-service technology, assisting transactions at registers/self-checkout, ensuring club pick-up orders filled
- Oversee assigned area by handling claims/returns, zoning area, arranging/organizing merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, organizing/maintaining carts/flatbeds availability, assisting members transporting items, utilizing cart retrieval equipment per policies, maintaining parking lot cleanliness
