Requirements

  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, modeling policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation
  • Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, including identifying needs, monitoring completion, facilitating courses, and ensuring compliance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, support plans/initiatives, communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvements, and promote continuous learning
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics, implement action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on business processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office (e.g., benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, payroll) by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and researching and addressing employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation of and ensuring compliance with HR systems/applications, and researching/gathering data for HR-related issues
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies/standards/procedures, monitoring compliance, distributing/maintaining procedures and supporting documentation
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others when needed to determine corrective action or make recommendations to resolve
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders in area of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and providing feedback, teaching/supporting/modeling Logistics and company policies/procedures, identifying training/development needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders
  • Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) for Distribution and/or Transportation associates by identifying training/development needs for hourly associates, Drivers, and/or management, monitoring completion of training curricula, presenting/facilitating training courses, and monitoring schedules, completion deadlines, and compliance for multiple training activities
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing/maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives to meet customer/business needs, identifying/communicating goals/objectives, building accountability/measuring progress, identifying/addressing improvement opportunities, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring/training/mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics/integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing/supporting Open Door Policy, and providing direction/guidance on applying these in executing business processes/practices
