Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies for assigned area to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety, operational improvements)
  • Manage financial aspects: monitor/track expenses vs. budgets, asset utilization; prepare/review/analyze business reports
  • Ensure facility-wide compliance with supply chain, quality, and safety standards by developing/distributing/maintaining procedures and documentation
  • Serve as community liaison: participate in local/community organizations, charitable activities; promote company-sponsored programs/events to associates/customers
  • Supervise/manage associates and leaders: provide direction, communicate goals, monitor performance, give feedback, identify training needs, support learning/growth, teach logistics/policies, participate in hiring/promotion/coaching/evaluation
  • Support continuous improvement via WPS: drive implementation, establish root cause analysis
  • Implement/monitor supply chain initiatives using change management, playbooks, review/response systems
  • Drive execution of business plans/projects: identify needs, develop/communicate plans/priorities, remove barriers, provide resources, set standards, measure/adjust performance, develop contingencies, support learning
