Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned accounts
  • Develops pursuit plans and contributes to building and managing storage sales pipeline
  • Proactively supports proposal development, negotiations, deal closings, and coordinates internal and external stakeholders
  • Works closely with and supports the Account Manager, providing technical expertise and participating in client engagements
  • Effectively uses internal sales tools to maintain a healthy pipeline and account plan in a timely fashion
  • Assesses solution feasibility from technical and business perspectives to determine "qualify-in"/"qualify-out" status
  • Drives sales of the Storage portfolio using strong leadership and initiative to prospect, negotiate, and close deals
  • Establishes professional and consultative relationships with clients by understanding their unique business needs
  • Interfaces with internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development
  • Actively generates customer interest, understands buying trends, links business/financial benefits with technology offerings, and illustrates ROI & TCO advantages
  • Proactively supports deal closure in partnership with internal stakeholders, including account managers and channel partners
