Managing the Logistics department for the branch to optimize timely and accurate delivery of products
Promoting staff compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
Promoting vehicle safety, including daily vehicle inspections and reports, and maintenance regulations
Managing daily and on-call Delivery employee schedules
Completing daily route preparation
Assigning additional routes as patient and referral requests are received; occasionally performing Delivery responsibilities when needed
Performing special projects such as researching methods to improve productivity and cut costs in the branch distribution function
Working with Corporate Purchasing on ordering special equipment and new products
Solving problems involving Delivery staff shortages, route changes, and loading equipment
Monitoring and maintaining close contact with Delivery staff throughout the day to troubleshoot problems and facilitate timely and accurate route completion
Managing the proper and efficient loading of trucks and assisting with loading when necessary
Assisting with special orders and equipment
Maintaining daily vehicle maintenance logs and incident reports
Maintaining proper levels of stock in warehouse to ensure maximum profitability
