  • Completing daily route preparation
  • Assigning additional routes as patient and referral requests are received; occasionally performing Delivery responsibilities when needed
  • Performing special projects such as researching methods to improve productivity and cut costs in the branch distribution function
  • Working with Corporate Purchasing on ordering special equipment and new products
  • Solving problems involving Delivery staff shortages, route changes, and loading equipment
  • Monitoring and maintaining close contact with Delivery staff throughout the day to troubleshoot problems and facilitate timely and accurate route completion
  • Managing the proper and efficient loading of trucks and assisting with loading when necessary
  • Assisting with special orders and equipment
  • Maintaining daily vehicle maintenance logs and incident reports
  • Maintaining proper levels of stock in warehouse to ensure maximum profitability
