Total Rewards Manager

Position Overview

Do you want to help build an environment where the very best people can do amazing work? Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Total Rewards Manager to be part of our People department.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

The Team

The Total Rewards team ensures Jobber’s compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals. As part of the People team, this function plays a key role in shaping the employee experience through data-driven insights and thoughtful compensation practices.

The Role

The Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for coordinating, updating, and executing Jobber’s Total Rewards Strategy. As a critical member of the People and Planning team, you will provide timely, data-driven results based on our internal Total Rewards framework. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with significant visibility across the organization, requiring a balance of analytical expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration. While you'll be at home in an analytical environment, success in this role also requires the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

Responsibilities

The Total Rewards Manager will:

  • Act as a resource on all facets of total rewards.
  • Manage the coordination, maintenance, and execution of all aspects of the compensation process including: job evaluation, job banding, benchmarking, base and market compensation cycle coordination, data audits, and ad hoc compensation reviews.
  • Coordinate and facilitate our participation in salary surveys. Complete scheduled and ad hoc reviews. Pass any findings on to the People team.
  • Support Jobber’s compensation process by providing data based compensation analysis of individuals, roles, and job families on an ad hoc basis.
  • Manipulate and analyze data sets to determine relevant insights and make recommendations based on those findings.
  • Apply comprehensive compensation knowledge to various Jobber programs with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Review Jobber’s compensation structures for pay equity, compliance, and other internal metrics.
  • Maintain benchmarking data and coordinate updates with external partners.
  • Serve as the main contact for our compensation systems, including maintaining integrations between internal software systems.

Requirements

To be successful, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience working with Total Rewards frameworks in Canada, ideally North America.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and understand compensation systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A collaborative mindset that focuses on resolving challenges in a productive manner.
  • Be solution-oriented.
  • You take feedback well and can adapt quickly based on it.
