About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Marketing Manager to lead localized marketing efforts for our Canadian operations. This individual will own the strategy and execution of localized marketing programs, with a particular emphasis on performance marketing, ensuring that all initiatives are data-driven, ROI-focused, and aligned with both regional goals and global brand strategy.

This role will work in close partnership with our local agency, leveraging their capabilities to execute world-class marketing programs across all channels. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of digital acquisition tactics with excellent project management, stakeholder collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Own Constant Contact Canada Marketing

  • Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for both direct acquisition and indirect/partner-led initiatives in Canada.
  • Serve as the central marketing point of contact, aligning activities across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion performance marketing as a key growth lever, ensuring tactics like SEM, paid social, programmatic, and retargeting are fully optimized.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary marketing lead for Canada, coordinating efforts across internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., paid media, creative, and site operations) to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the partner marketing team to develop co-marketing opportunities with Canadian partners.

Data-Driven Optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to optimize ROI and engagement.
  • Track and report on key metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making data-backed recommendations.
  • Use customer and market insights to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness.

Brand Growth & Local Presence

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance brand visibility in Canada, including events, digital campaigns and PR.
  • Support local promotional activities and initiatives to drive engagement and awareness.

Marketing Budget & Spend Management

  • Work with the General Manager to ensure marketing funds are allocated effectively and spent according to plan.
  • Coordinate with finance and other teams to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and reallocation of budgets as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Canadian market and consumer behavior.
  • Campaign Execution: Proven experience in campaign execution across multiple channels (email, digital, PR, social media, events).
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience using project management tools to track progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and optimization.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Budget Management: Experience in budget management and financial reporting is a plus.
