The Total Rewards Lead, Variable Incentives will play a pivotal role in leading the design, maintenance, and execution of Flipp’s sales and variable incentive programs. This role focuses on optimizing these programs, driving data-informed decisions, and enhancing the overall employee value proposition. You will serve as an advisor to senior management and partner closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Incentive Design:
    • Lead the design and continuous improvement of sales compensation and variable incentive programs that drive revenue and align with strategic goals.
    • Ensure programs are scalable, role-specific, and designed to motivate behaviors aligned to evolving go-to-market strategies.
    • Partner with External Partnerships (Sales and Business Development), Finance, and Revenue Operations on target quotas, commission structures, SPIFFs, and bonus metrics that reflect performance expectations.
  • Variable Incentive Design:
    • Support the development and enhancement of variable pay programs across the organization - including performance-based pay, short-term incentives, and long-term incentive frameworks - ensuring alignment with business priorities, talent strategy, and organizational values.
  • Program Implementation & Governance:
    • Oversee end-to-end rollout of new or revised sales incentive plans, including stakeholder training, communications, and change management activities in partnership with Sales Enablement.
    • Leverage data visualization techniques, dashboards, and modelling to support governance, implementation, and training of variable incentive plans.
    • Develop repeatable processes and playbooks to support the sustainable execution and annual refresh of variable pay programs.
    • Develop governance frameworks to ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and fiduciaries.
