Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies in the assigned market
  • Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure brand presence and manage distributor network
  • Promote company products ethically to doctors and chemists via science-based discussions
  • Organize camps (CME), merchandising, and sampling as per division strategy
  • Facilitate new product launches through customer identification, targeting, promotion, and feedback
  • Execute customer management plan: 100% doctor coverage, call averages, retailer inventory calls, prescription audits
  • Create and update customer lists (doctors/chemists) as per therapy/product needs
  • Ensure Abbott brand visibility at retailers, clinics, retail meets, and market blitzes
  • Generate POBs for Abbott brands
  • Recommend and appoint distributors after evaluation
  • Ensure timely submission of stock/sales statements and settlement of distributor claims
  • Build company reputation, lead junior team members by example
  • Lead adherence to compliance standards (Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance)
  • Conform to financial, admin, statutory, and regulatory norms
  • Provide high-level customer service and manage difficult situations
  • Ensure accurate order processing and minimal audit issues
  • Manage attrition of customers and resources
  • Execute division/business strategies
  • Attend strategy meetings, briefings, doctors' meets, workshops, and training programs
