Requirements

  • 3 years experience in test development for automotive electronics or related industries (Medical, Aerospace) on New Program Introduction (NPI)
  • Bachelor degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems, Analog & digital electronics
  • Proficient software development skills in one or more of: National Instruments LabView, NI LabWindows CVI, NI TestStand, C++, C
  • Knowledge of board level programming for microcontrollers and memories
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, LVDS, Flex-Ray, Broad@Reach
  • Knowledge in 6 Sigma and statistical methods
  • Good problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work and live in a global network environment
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive work style
  • Fluent English (must)

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced functional test and product programming, and develop hardware & software solutions for global manufacturing sites
  • Develop test software building blocks which are globally reusable across product lines across the sites
  • Research test equipment & fixture suppliers, develop standard statement of work templates, and provide equipment costing information for globally sourced equipment solutions
  • Work in cooperation with product development engineering competencies to ensure designs are optimized for test and programming
  • Develop standard practices and procedures which are followed by the global Mfg. Test Engineering organization
  • Develop and administer test-related training materials and classes for the Mfg. Test Engineering organization
