Candidates must have 5+ years of test automation experience and proficiency in Python or Go. They should possess strong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles, along with experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker. Excellent troubleshooting skills, proven leadership and mentoring abilities, and a willingness to work with new programming languages and technologies are also required. Desirable experience includes Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, UI/UX, API (REST/GraphQL), Data testing, test frameworks like Pytest and Cypress, Go, advertising technologies, application development, and strategies for AI model testing.
The Software Development Engineer in Test IV will be involved in all phases of product development, from requirements to validation and deployment. They will work in a nimble team, collaborating on common problems across products and focus areas, and own components, processes, and workflows. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining CI pipelines, collaborating on CD enablement, conducting root cause analysis of issues, and providing solutions. The role also involves participating in the design and implementation of automation strategies, frameworks, and infrastructure for various tests, working closely with QA guilds to create efficient testing tools, setting and driving coding standards, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies in test automation and quality assurance.
