Candidates must possess excellent negotiating and relationship-building skills, the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, and an enthusiastic, self-starting attitude with strong interpersonal skills. A consultative, solution-oriented selling mindset is required, along with working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook 365) and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or SAP. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
The Territory Sales Manager will achieve sales and profitability targets for Westlake Royal Building Products' roofing solutions in the assigned Sacramento/North NV territory. This includes developing and maintaining consultative relationships with distributors, custom home builders, roofing contractors, general contractors, and multi-family builders. Responsibilities involve expanding market share, developing sales strategies, interpreting market data, driving product performance, and creating territory plans. The role requires establishing and maintaining positive customer relations, building rapport with key decision-makers, participating in trade shows, understanding customer operations, recommending product/marketing changes, operating within an expense budget, managing customer complaints and receivables, providing technical advice, distributing literature, arranging demonstrations, submitting sales reports and forecasts, participating in training, and managing the customer database. Compliance with safety policies and procedures is also required, with some overnight travel anticipated.
