Requirements

1+ year of sales experience preferred
HS Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license required, and motor vehicle record must be in good standing
Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
Problem solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills
Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model
Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers
Manage time and territory effectively
Work collaboratively with Specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, leads from existing clients, organizations, clubs, trade shows, and conferences
Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and troubleshoot order process problems (e.g., delivery mis picks, short on loads, stock-outs)
Know market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as value-added services
Drive personal motor vehicle for regular check-ins, site visits, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
