Requirements

  • High School or GED Equivalent or four years of customer service/sales experience
  • South Dakota Resident Producers License - South Dakota Division of Insurance in the state of practice within 30 Days
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Ability to work the hours specified
  • Meet and maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members, identify the type of assistance and information needed, and convert callers to qualified leads and sales
  • Follow up with members on questions or to review current or new products and services
  • Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the product portfolio by addressing member needs, explaining product differences, and assisting in product selection
  • Assist in completion of the enrollment application over the phone, consistent with product requirements and enrollment guidelines
  • Meet goals established for Sales Quota performance and consumer experience
