Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience as a technical writer, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in SaaS, accounting, payroll, or restaurant industries is required, along with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, help authoring solutions, Confluence, and/or Jira. The ability to capture, craft, edit, and publish images/gifs to support written documentation is essential. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Technical Writer will create, update, and maintain product documentation, including customer-facing and internal materials like tooltips, help menus, and help text. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Managers and Designers on product changes and in-product wording, developing FAQs and troubleshooting articles, managing documentation updates, and ensuring content continuity. The role involves analyzing article feedback and analytics, working with various business units to produce documentation and training materials, and maintaining in-product help menus. Additionally, the writer will plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures, and assist team members and customers with a helpful attitude.
