Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a diploma in Technical Writing, and 2-4 years of technical writing experience, preferably in the EDA/VLSI industry. Proficiency in Markdown, Git/GitHub, and tools like Confluence is essential, as is a strong command of English, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with Topic-Based Authoring and MadCap Flare.
The Technical Writer will create and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, manuals, datasheets, and application notes for both software and hardware products, prioritizing clarity and usability. They will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product management teams to ensure technical accuracy, consult with product managers and stakeholders to grasp product specifications, and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. The role also involves managing documentation in GitHub, maintaining version control and accessibility, and delivering projects on time with meticulous attention to detail, as well as contributing to the initial level of QA Validation and possessing basic C or Python coding skills.
