Responsibilities

  • Manage customer cases to a satisfactory resolution in areas of hardware platforms, operating systems, subsystems, and products
  • Act as the first level of technical support to customers
  • Research solutions through remote diagnosis, documentation, and/or knowledge databases within agreed timeframes
  • Qualify hardware cases by diagnosing and/or recommending parts for field engineers or direct shipment to customers
  • Timely elevate and/or escalate complex problems
  • Respond to customers via phone/mail/web in a timely manner
  • Log cases, provide information, and troubleshoot to solve customer problems according to company KPIs
  • Manage customer expectations considering entitlement and identify customer problems
  • Keep customers informed, set and follow commitments, maintain precise case documentation, and own cases
  • Participate in projects for process or quality improvements
  • Manage multiple tasks or cases simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Actively improve technical and business process knowledge in a self-paced manner
  • Independently improve quality metrics to achieve targets
  • Keep documentation as per requirements
  • Meet deadlines and service level agreements
