Requirements

  • Preferably possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field
  • 2–5 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in gases, chemicals, or engineering solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and SAP
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the allocated area and occasionally across Malaysia
  • Valid driving license and own transport
  • Preferably fluent in English, Malay and Chinese
  • Experience in handling industrial clients and technical sales (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and safety protocols (preferred)
  • Proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused mindset (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously (preferred)
  • Shows ability to think out of the box and tailor solutions for challenges encountered (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and margin targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term contract customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and technical consultation to contract negotiation and post-sales support which inclusive of payment collection and etc
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address customer technical inquiries and ensure seamless delivery
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and long-term contracts tailored to customer needs
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review
  • Conduct regular site visits and build strong customer relationships
  • Support product launches and participate in marketing and training initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal safety, quality, and operational standards
