Candidates must possess at least 2 years of project management experience in a technology-driven environment and a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on schedule. A solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization concepts is required, along with experience working directly with engineering teams and possessing solid communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Expertise in breaking down large projects into milestones, managing deliverables, and tracking dependencies is essential, as is experience managing multiple concurrent projects, making resource allocation decisions, and informed trade-offs. Proficiency with product management tools such as Linear, Jira, or Asana and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment are also necessary. Bonus points include experience in the hospitality technology sector or with PMS/hotel systems, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, PMP or similar project management certification, experience managing vendor relationships or B2B partnerships, and experience with OKR planning and execution.
The Technical Project Manager will partner with the Engineering Lead and Product Manager to execute the integration roadmap, manage multiple concurrent integration projects including external communications, resource allocation, and capacity planning. They will facilitate all communication with external stakeholders, establishing clear milestones and deliverables, and create and maintain comprehensive integration documentation for internal and external use. This role involves participating in early-stage scoping conversations for new integration opportunities, identifying and proactively removing blockers that could impact delivery timelines, and working with external stakeholders across the globe including US, EMEA, and APAC.
