Requirements

Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in program or project management for complex product development programs. A thorough understanding of agile and waterfall management techniques is required, along with a technical background typically demonstrated by an Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience. Excellent leadership and organizational skills are essential, as well as strong communication abilities to structure internal and external communication. Candidates should also possess a strong ability to lead by influence and example, and have experience using various project management tools.

Responsibilities

The Technical Program Manager will manage large scale deployments of GPU clusters in datacenter colocation across the country. They will work closely with Data Center engineering and operations to ensure proper deployment of data center infrastructure requirements. The role involves driving multiple simultaneous projects forward, assessing risks, and monitoring tasks. The manager will proactively manage dependencies and anticipate or resolve execution issues, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure correct building, testing, and deployment on time while meeting stated SLAs. They will communicate progress and status with internal stakeholders and customer groups in various locations and time zones, interact with stakeholders at various levels concerning resolution of technical and scheduling issues, and build strong partnerships across Lambda to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
