Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years of technical project/program management experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience managing suppliers/manufacturers (remote or on-site)
  • Strong technical acumen in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication
  • Preferred: Exposure to 3D printing, urethane casting, and injection molding
  • Familiarity with quality systems (including PPAP), supply chain management, and manufacturing logistics

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project execution across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and quality
  • Ensure all programs stay on scope, within budget, and on schedule
  • Create comprehensive and realistic project/program plans
  • Identify and proactively manage risks with appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners
  • Drive alignment, decision-making, and timely issue resolution
  • Understand and document customer requirements
  • Resolve gaps that may affect program success or delivery performance
  • Evaluate and execute post-sale change requests
  • Balance scope, cost, risk, and delivery implications while maintaining program objectives
  • Track and report on program metrics such as cost, quality, schedule, and risk
  • Escalate issues when necessary and ensure clear, timely communication
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, tools, and data visibility
  • Support the rollout of scalable processes as Fictiv grows in India and globally
