Product Manager, AI Observability

Position Overview

AI is rapidly transforming the world, and Arize AI is at the forefront as the leading AI observability and evaluation platform. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of AI workflows and develop as a Product Management leader in a fast-growing space.

The Team

Our team is dedicated to defining the "canonical stack" for AI workflows, tackling complex challenges in AI experimentation, evaluation, understanding, and responsible deployment at scale. Comprised of individuals with deep technical and strategic backgrounds from leading AI/ML companies, we have a proven track record of shipping market-leading platforms. You will collaborate with top-tier AI Engineers and Data Scientists.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Development: Own, strategize, and develop significant portions of Arize AI’s core product roadmap.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to creation.
• Customer Engagement: Directly engage with customers to gather meaningful insights and feedback, ensuring the creation of a world-class product.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive product strategy into production.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Integrate competitive analysis, usability research, and market analysis into product requirements.
• Technical Contribution: Leverage your understanding of AI/ML/CV or related technical domains to contribute to Arize AI’s main product offering.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of relevant product management experience or previous AI/ML experience with strong product ownership.
• Proven track record of building in a technical domain, shipping quickly and efficiently.
• Willingness to actively engage with code.
• Experience and/or knowledge of working within machine learning or data platforms and infrastructure.
• Experience working directly with customers and fostering community discussions to gather client feedback.
• Experience driving data-informed product strategy into production.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Previous engineering and/or tech lead experience.
• Experience in API design.
• Early startup experience.
• Experience working with Figma or similar design tools.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $100,000 - $185,000 annually.

Location

• Remote-First: While we are a remote-first company, we have optional offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area for those who prefer in-person work.
• WFH Stipend: A monthly stipend is provided for co-working spaces for remote employees outside of our office locations.
