Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a client-facing technical role, ideally as a Technical Account Manager or Solutions/Sales Engineer, and possess a deep understanding of IP Telephony, SIP/H323, Audio/Video codecs, and experience troubleshooting network issues such as firewalls and NAT. They should also have experience with video conferencing and UC tools like Cisco/Tandberg, Polycom, Lifesize, and Microsoft Lync/Office365, along with familiarity with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Strong project management skills, excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are also required. Certifications in Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) and contact center-centric industry certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Technical Account Manager will serve as a technical subject matter expert on Zoom’s architecture and video/audio collaboration space, partnering closely with the customer account team to drive customer relationships and manage technical feature requests. They will develop trusted technical advisor relationships with customers, providing recommendations based on the Zoom product suite to address their business needs, and partnering with Customer Success Managers to notify customers about product enhancements. Additionally, they will act as the Voice of Customer internally within Zoom, working with the assigned Customer Success Manager to prioritize business needs and drive product development, and they will be responsible for administering on-premise solutions like Genesys Engage and understanding telecom infrastructure including PBX, carriers, VoIP, and networking protocols.
