Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably as a Technical Account Manager, Account Manager, or Product Manager for a highly technical product. Experience with Big 4 Consulting is preferred but not required. A deep understanding of developer workflows, build systems (CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Circle CI, Jenkins, Buildkite), and SCM environments (Git, SVN, Perforce) is essential. Strong strategic thinking, customer empathy, excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence, familiarity with Web Application Security concepts (OWASP Top 10), and a background or interest in DevSecOps or AppSec are also required. An engineering or technical degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Account Manager will drive the implementation and ongoing adoption of Semgrep for their customer base. This includes creating personalized growth plans, de-escalating churn risks, acting as an expert for accounts, representing the voice of the customer for product improvements, and delivering executive business reviews. Responsibilities also involve hosting monthly customer check-ins, collaborating with Sales, Tech Support, and Product Management, advocating for customer needs in product roadmaps, evolving best practices for exceptional service, and contributing to product documentation.
