Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity
- Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex, scalable systems
- Deep experience in one or more: Python, Node.js, Go; strong knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and real-time data processing
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Skilled at balancing long-term technical vision with short-term delivery needs
- Bonus: experience integrating LLMs, AI-powered automation, or observability tools
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and performant
- Own delivery of major product initiatives from concept to production
- Write clean, maintainable code and set engineering best practices for the team
- Mentor and guide engineers, conducting design reviews and fostering technical growth
- Identify and implement process improvements for speed and quality as we scale
- Help with recruiting and onboarding as we grow the engineering team
