What You'll Do

The AI Architect will serve as the central authority for artificial intelligence strategy and implementation across bswift. This role is pivotal in ensuring technical teams adopt unified platforms and consistent approaches, while driving scalable and enterprise-grade AI innovations. This is a remote position.

What You Will Be Responsible For (Essential Functions)

AI Leadership

  • Define and execute a comprehensive AI deployment strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across teams
  • Drive standardization of platforms, tools, and technologies related to AI
  • Collaborate with leadership to transform business goals into technical solutions

Technical Architecture & Implementation

  • Design and oversee infrastructure and frameworks for AI adoption
  • Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems and data architecture
  • Select and deploy AI/ML platforms, frameworks, and tools
  • Develop technical standards for AI agent design, training, and deployment

Cross-functional Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure consistent implementation across the organization
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to teams building AI solutions
  • Promote internal knowledge sharing and best practice adoption

Innovation & Optimization

  • Track emerging technologies and assess impact
  • Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concepts
  • Continuously improve performance and reliability of deployed AI systems
  • Establish monitoring and metrics for evaluating solution effectiveness

What You Need to Succeed (Required Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years experience in solution architecture, with 5+ years in AI/ML or enterprise data architecture
  • Deep expertise in frameworks/platforms like AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI, Databricks
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and microservices
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#
  • Track record of building large-scale AI/ML solutions
  • Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics
  • Understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle, CI/CD practices
  • Awareness of ethical AI, data governance, and privacy considerations
  • Proven leadership in technical environments
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with distributed, remote-first teams
