Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture is required, including at least 5 years focused on AI/ML or enterprise data architecture. Expertise in platforms such as AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI, and Databricks is essential, along with knowledge of enterprise architecture, microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# is necessary, as is a proven track record of building large-scale AI/ML solutions. Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, MLOps, model lifecycle, CI/CD practices, ethical AI, data governance, and privacy considerations is expected. The role also requires proven leadership in technical environments, exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, and experience with distributed, remote-first teams. Experience in benefits administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

The AI Architect will define and execute the company's AI deployment strategy, establishing governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for AI adoption across teams. This role involves driving the standardization of AI platforms, tools, and technologies, and collaborating with leadership to translate business goals into technical solutions. Responsibilities include designing and overseeing AI infrastructure and frameworks, integrating AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, and selecting/deploying AI/ML platforms. The architect will develop technical standards for AI agent design, training, and deployment, partner with engineering teams for consistent implementation, and provide guidance and mentorship to teams building AI solutions. Additionally, the role entails promoting internal knowledge sharing, tracking emerging technologies, leading pilot programs, continuously improving AI system performance, and establishing monitoring and metrics for solution effectiveness.
