Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Art, Drama, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
2-3 years work experience in production, including strong working knowledge of post production techniques and terminology
Proficiency in Macs/PCs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with Google Suite
Very strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
Ability to work on a computer/keyboard for long periods of time
Ability to work overtime on an ongoing basis
Ability to juggle multiple projects, work with diverse personalities, and work within strict deadlines
Attention to detail, follow through, and strong communication skills
Technical ability and knowledge to run Linux, Windows, and Mac-based programs
Responsibilities
Work closely with Engineering Leads in crewing, casting, and scheduling studio’s escalated show support tickets or communicating alternative next steps to show stakeholders
Work closely with CG Technology Supervisors to develop specialized knowledge around Technology, Tools, Pipeline, and workflows used in specific artist disciplines
Establish a process for communicating escalated show support assignments and priorities daily to show CG Supervisors, Artist Supes and Leads, CG Technology Supervisor, and Engineering Discipline team
Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within JIRA, working with Technology Project Managers and CG Technology Supervisors to ensure visibility of work status to Technology teams
Ensure escalated show support for the studio is prioritized for each appropriate Engineering Discipline and meets internal (show) expectations and needs
Check in regularly with crewed Engineers regarding workload, targets, and needs
Track escalated support status and coordinate artist testing and feedback at appropriate intervals to ensure solutions meet show needs
Keep a weekly synopsis of the studio’s escalated show support and its status in a clear and always available format
Serve as key communication liaison between all relevant parties, providing updates, priorities, reschedules, and status of escalated support
Anticipate and communicate issues to heads of team(s) to reach solutions in a timely manner
Perform special projects as needed
