The ability to create compelling financial reports and projections for potential investors is also necessary.
The SVP of Finance will develop and execute the company's financial strategy to drive sustainable growth and align with company objectives. They will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insights and strategic guidance, and collaborating with People Operations & go-to-market teams on contract negotiations and resource/compensation strategies. The role involves preparing and presenting financial data, performance metrics, KPIs, and strategic updates to the board of directors and company. Responsibilities also include overseeing the company's financial planning & analysis and budget processes, maintaining financial models, developing accurate financial forecasts, and providing in-depth analysis of financial performance to drive operational efficiencies. Additionally, the SVP will support accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and local regulations, and collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors. They will lead, mentor, and grow the finance team, implement tools and processes to improve financial accuracy, efficiency, and scalability, and oversee relationships with banking partners, capital structure, debt management, FX hedging, and cash flow management. The role also includes leading fundraising efforts and overseeing insurance policies and risk management strategies.
