Graduate of an approved Surgical Tech program
Certification preferred
Previous surgical tech experience performing multiple different specialties preferred
Must have excellent communication skills, caring attitude and be a team player
Must be able to multi-task and triage items concurrently

Responsibilities

Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure
Maintain the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, and to be constantly vigilant in the maintenance of the sterile field
Responsible for procedures related to cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling of equipment, supplies and instruments for use in medical and surgical interventions
