Responsibilities

Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure
Maintain the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, and to be constantly vigilant in the maintenance of the sterile field
Responsible for procedures related to cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling of equipment, supplies and instruments for use in medical and surgical interventions
