One year OR Training or Experience
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year

Responsibilities

Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure
Provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary
Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures
Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures
Floats between Mount Holly Operating Room and Mount Holly Ambulatory Surgery department based on surgical need
Works three 10-hour shifts per week (7a - 5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday)
Responsible for 2nd on-call requirements and Holiday on-call for the Mount Holly Operating Room
