Job Description: Technical Support Specialist

Position Overview

ConnectOS is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for incoming support tickets, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective resolution of client issues. This is a remote position with a focus on providing excellent customer service and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming support tickets.
  • Assign support tickets to the relevant teams or team members based on ticket content and current work schedules.
  • Perform initial client contact via phone to gather information and understand support needs.

Requirements

  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • A methodical approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to coordinate a high volume of inbound support tickets.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICT industry with similar responsibilities.
    • Exposure to and detailed understanding of technical concepts such as Networking, Compute, Storage, AV equipment, and Servers.
  • Nice to have:
    • Vendor certifications from leading IT organizations (e.g., CISCO, CompTIA).
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Manila Time)
