Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with five years related supply chain experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Leadership: The ability to effectively motivate, develop and direct individuals
  • Communication: Communicates effectively, adapts to audience. Demonstrates strong listening skills and expresses thoughts in a clear and concise manner
  • Analytical: Demonstrate problem solving, root cause analysis and process improvement skills
  • Time Management: Ability to handle complex projects and work with cross functional teams
  • Technical: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Partake in Sales and Customer meetings, addressing matters that could impact company or customer performance, inform Supply Chain Manager of any concerns
  • Proactive and routine communication between Sales, Customers, Value Added and Operations
  • Help maintain high service level for key accounts - 99% plus for critical materials, 98.6% overall, work with team to successfully achieve these levels
  • Assist in the managing of new customer on-boarding based on the guidelines set forth in the “Points of Light”
  • Monitor exceptions, with Suppliers, Buyers, and Sales to address stocking position on critical materials
  • Reporting: Review and analyze key customer performance reports. Run ad hoc reports when needed
  • Review forecast historical trends along with projecting demand on upcoming events such as promotions, rollouts, holidays, or item transitions
  • Responsible for training and developing an effective and efficient staff
