Responsibilities

Manage complex subcontracts from award to closeout, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions for infrastructure construction projects
Oversee subcontract administration, including monitoring performance, resolving issues, and maintaining documentation related to subway station construction
Support the contracts team in upstream contract management with clients, providing expertise and guidance
Collaborate with the procurement team in the post-award process to ensure effective integration and execution of subcontract agreements and change management
Facilitate communication between subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project objectives for subway station construction are met
Conduct regular reviews and audits of subcontractor performance and compliance with construction standards
Prepare and present reports on subcontract status, performance, issues, construction progress, and claims status to senior management
Develop and implement subcontract management strategies to optimize performance and mitigate risks in execution of subcontract agreements
Ensure timely and accurate processing of subcontractor invoices and payments
Coordinate and lead subcontractor meetings to address project progress, issues, and solutions specific to subcontracts
Provide training and mentorship to subcontract administrators and coordinators in the context of subcontracts full lifecycle management
Assist in the negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for change management with a best-for-project approach
Monitor industry trends and best practices in construction to continuously improve subcontract management processes
Manage change orders and variations, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and communicated effectively
Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate submission and approval of subcontractor invoices
Participate in the development phase, providing input on subcontractor selection, scope definition, and contract terms from an execution perspective
