Strategy Advancement Advisor

Position Overview

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Humana Modernization Team is seeking a Strategy Advancement Advisor to help accelerate our agile transformation journey and support our vision for next-generation healthcare delivery. In this role, you will provide data-driven strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities, while enabling business agility across the enterprise.

As a key member of the agile transformation team, you will deliver business intelligence and strategic planning support, directly contributing to Humana’s mission and the advancement of agile ways of working. You will play a central role in aligning teams with Humana’s strategic objectives, supporting the design and execution of agile operating models, and building agile capabilities across insurance horizontals, verticals, enablers, and other teams. Your expertise in agile frameworks, governance, and change enablement will help drive adoption of agile tooling and technology across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business intelligence and strategic planning insights to support agile transformation across business segments.
  • Enable business agility by leveraging agile frameworks and effective governance practices.
  • Support the design, execution, and scaling of agile operating models.
  • Build agile capabilities across diverse teams, including coaching and change enablement.
  • Drive adoption of agile tooling and technology to enhance team performance and alignment.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with Humana’s vision, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment among stakeholders, ensuring clarity of vision and purpose.
  • Monitor progress on key initiatives, track milestones, and proactively address barriers to success.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A combination of 7 Years of change management and business transformation experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Agile transformation consulting experience
  • Leadership coaching experience
  • Organizational change within the healthcare and/or insurance sector
  • Experience leading large teams/programs
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft programs
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent judgments

Role Desirables

  • Master's Degree
  • Program and/or Project Management experience
  • Strategic Communication experience
